Governor Murphy Invests in Record Breaking Expansion to Reproductive Health Care
At the end of June, Governor Murphy enacted New Jersey’s annual budget, which includes a $52.2 million investment in reproductive health programs (in addition to those covered by State-sponsored insurance programs). This includes record-breaking resources to deliver safety-net family planning services, upgrade family planning facilities, and grow the reproductive health care workforce. A new initiative aims to attract OB/GYNs and other reproductive health care professionals from other states, including through loan redemption for service in medically underserved communities.
