Amaal Idoui is the Executive Associate at the Reproductive Freedom Alliance, where she provides comprehensive administrative and operational support and management to Reproductive Freedom Alliance’s Executive Director.
Amaal brings a diverse background in policy research, communications, and community organizing. She previously interned in the Office of California Governor Gavin Newsom, where she supported communications, stakeholder engagement, speechwriting, social media, and press releases. Amaal also served as the Middle Eastern/North African/South Asian Community Coordinator at the UC Davis Cross Cultural Center in which she developed community initiatives and promoted cultural exchange and visibility.
She holds a Bachelor's in Political Science with a focus on Public Service and a Minor in Arabic from the University of California, Davis. During her time at UC Davis, Amaal was awarded the prestigious Regents Scholarship and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. She also pursued research on food insecurity and the CalFresh program across California, and studied abroad in London and Paris, focusing on the political landscapes of both cities.
